Sometimes you might want to work in a different space whether as a means to explain and explore or working in "the backchannel"

Blackboard Collaborate, (formerly Elluminate)		is the favoured tool of a number of education departments and groups. It enables broadcast presentations that can also be recorded alongside a chat facility and other interactive tools. Some Education Departments such as the DEECD can provide access for schools.

Coveritlive		is a great tool for simultaneously creating a written record by an individual or group of a presentation or meeting. With a built in "back channel" this is a great tool for discussion on the run

Todays Meet		works like a private twitter chatroom. The setup is instantaneous with chat restricted to 140 characters. Be aware the room deletes itself from within 2 hours to 4 weeks.
