Blogs are still very much part of many educator's network tools however the pre-eminence they once held has become a little diluted by the immediacy of other tools. For a more considered reportage/reflection however blogs still rate as a great tool.

Though they now carry ads for the basic

free service, edublogs is still one of the best education focussed blogging portals.

If you work in a Victorian DEECD

or CEO school you should be using the free

Global2 for your blogs which has a Getting Started Guide

Edublogs also has extensive help notes

Another service that is arguably more maleable is posterous.

With Posterous you can quickly post from within

your browser or via email, gathering content wherever

you are browsing.

This is my 365 pics in 2010 posterous blog.
